Cultured Sounds present the second of our quarterly events, showcasing our forthcoming music alongside a few special guests. We land at The Shacklewell Arms in Dalston to bring together the colourful and ever expanding network of good music lovers across London and beyond.

The sonic journey will begin with a very special guest performance from Xtra Soula & Friends, bringing a north Indian classical performance, before our host for the night – Delta Lima, sets off a vibesy cypher, followed by live performances from some of the best hip hop artists in London.

Line Up:
A veteran of the scene, Cakes aka Origarmy lives by the mantra “It’s All Luv” – the title of his 2013 album with producer Geo. He’s spread the word far, judging by the amount people wearing t-shirts with the saying across it, and off the back of 4 albums and 7 mixtapes, the man they call Mr. Kipling has developed a formidable stage presence. Expect laughs as well as sing-a-long anthems.

The production duo behind the Kropz ‘Universal Mind’ single & Oracy’s ‘FITD’ album last year, returned to Cultured Sounds with their production on our recent single ‘Imagination’ by Watusi87 & Majical (video: The pair have an exciting showcase in store featuring a host of rappers, namely Mike Kalle, Watusi87, Blackk Chronical, S.I. Stature, Flowtecs & Delta Lima.

** ST. JUDE **
Hailing from Brighton, St. Jude has been spreading his distinctive brand of ‘real talk’ across London since the release of his debut mixtape ‘Desperate Times & Lost Causes’. With the next project underway, featuring beats from Sixth Sense and Opus Dice and some special guest features, the patron saint of conscious lyricism is sure to have you rocking ya headtop.

One half of Positive Vibes Crew, Shumba Youth’s distinctive vocal tones and flow brings together reggae and hip hop with perfection. Summed up as “effortlessly trill”, Shumba has been gracing stages across Europe throughout 2015 and 2016.

Lady of the microphone, Beatroots host, and singer in London-Cuban band Wara, Fedzilla is well-known for bringing a multi-genre, multinational feel to her musical exploits. She has performed at numerous festivals far and wide, but we’re happy to bring her to Dalston to perform her infectiously vibrant and energetic solo show.

Following two NY & Canada tours alongside #AVRevolution head Consensus, Phyba’s mixtape ‘Shades Of Alejandro’ is due for release at the end of June. Also known as ‘The Hitman’ of Crate Divizion, Phyba’s luxurious lyricism possesses Scorcese-esque imagery with liquid flows.
